Where all 2,430 games are watched through the season. The famous Cave Monster.
The MLB Fan Cave, is a first-of-its-kind immersive fan experience which takes place in a vibrant location in New York City's Greenwich Village that hosts the final 9 contestants (aka The Cave Dwellers) who were chosen from a pool of over 20,000 applicants for the MLB Dream Job to become the Ultimate Fan. Both a broadcasting set and social networking hub, the Fan Cave connects MLB Fans to the many players who will visit the Cave and interact with the Cave Dwellers throughout the season.
Our design team was awarded the project for the lower-level VIP Lounge of the 2012 MLB Fan Cave located on 4th & Broadway in NYC. The lounge will host major celebrities, star athletes and executive sponsors for interviews and events. Working together with lead designer Angela Camarda and the rest of our team of highly skilled contractors, we completed this space in just 6 weeks.
The big reveal will take place on Baseball's Opening Day, Thursday, April 5th with public tours scheduled by reservation. To inquire about touring the entire Fan Cave, check out who's visiting the Cave, or to keep up to date with the competition for the Ultimate Fan, visit www.mlbfancave.com. Exciting news! The The Big C airs its new season titled "Change of Seasons" on Showtime Networks Television this Sunday April 8th at 9:30 pm. Lillian August has provided furnishings for many of their sets throughout these past couple of seasons. There will be a special episode this coming season where Cathy, (Laura Linney), stays at a hotel on the beach, (designed to replicate a well-known hotel near the pier in Santa Monica, CA), where we helped to furnish the entire room. Be on the lookout if you can!
Video: With the change of seasons, comes a season of change. The Big C returns for season 3 on April 8th at 9:30PM ET/PT.

Just back from LA, our co-founder + co-owner John Weiss visitied the Natural Curiosities studio where he worked directly with Christopher Wilcox on a collection for our stores. Below are a few photos John took during his visit, the new collection will be in stores soon. Check back for more updates!
Last night, we hosted an incredible event at our NY Store. We celebrated Cottages & Gardens' launch of their new regional publication, New York Cottages & Gardens (NYC&G) as well as held a blogger event which included a live chat by ABCD Design. We unveiled windows designed by 3 amazing NYC interor designers, Amy Lau, Tilton Fenwick and NYC&G's Rising Star Curious Yellow. The bloggers had a chance to have one-on-one Q&A with the designers. The evening ended with a cocktail reception celebrating NYC&G's launch. The event was a true success, we had a huge turn out and everyone enjoyed themselves-- they ate, drank and mingled the night away... Thank you to everyone who attended!
