Returns & Exchanges

At Lillian August, we take great pride in the quality of the products we offer and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item or are missing parts, please contact us within 3 days of receipt so that we can send out a replacement item, replacement parts or arrange for a technician to come out and service the item. Customers are responsible for fully inspecting the product once it is delivered and noting any issues on the delivery receipt. If there is an issue that is not noted on the delivery receipt and signed by the customer, Lillian August reserves the right to deny the claim as the delivery paperwork was signed without notation of any issues. If you wish to return an item please review our return policy and follow the procedures for requesting a return.

Return Policy

  • No returns accepted on custom/special ordered items.
  • No cancellations or changes to custom/special order items once an order has been placed with vendor.
  • Returns of in-stock rugs accepted within 3 days of receipt.
  • All returns and cancellations are subject to a restocking fee of 35%.
  • No refunds or exchanges for accurate items, properly delivered.
  • We will always do our best to expedite orders, but we are not responsible for manufacturer’s delays.

Procedure For Requesting a Return

  • Contact us within 3 days of receiving your order to request an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number, for a qualified reason of return. Returns will not be accepted without an RMA number.
  • Lillian August will arrange for pickup of merchandise.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Once item is received back in warehouse Lillian August will issue a refund minus original shipping fees, return shipping fees and applicable restocking fees.
